Sunny holidays

The hubs and I got back last week from a lovely sunny holiday in Benalmedina, Southern Spain. Whilst a lot of the area is very 'Englishified' we had some aboslutely delicious food, including lots of fresh fish and seafood paella. Oh and my lovely big ice cream!

Needless to say, we returned from a week of beautiful sunshine non-stop, to grey cloudy rainy britain. Still, at least its nearly christmas.

Weekend at the lakes

We have spent a very pleasant weekend at the Lake District with hubby's mum and her partner. They have a lovely holiday cottage in Bowness, and its very peaceful, aside from the large amount of Evil Swans. I swear they are plotting how to take over the world. Check out how brave the hubby is getting near to the swans when taking a photo. The dog in the photo is a lovely fat little Jack Russell who lives in a pub where we met up to have lunch. We ate some lovely food and drank some truly wonderful beer.
